Unsure about whether or not you’ll like scuba diving? Chances are you will! But this option is
perfect if you want to try it out before fully committing. A quick review of basic safety procedures and a quick dip in the pool will let you explore underwater with the dive equipment. We can even try a few basic skills if you’re really enjoying it. If you decide to move forward, this counts towards your Open Water certification and I will credit your cost to your course.
This certification is your ticket to diving anywhere in the world. There is an online portion, followed by a pool session, and 2 days in open water. It covers all the basics of diving and important skills that help you understand how everything works. Most of our diving is done at Lake Mead, but I also teach on certain trips, so if you’d prefer a tropical location ask what is coming up next!
Advanced is the next core class after Open Water. It includes 5 dives that explore the different specialties PADI has to offer, and helps to expand your skills. Deep and navigation are two required dives, then you get to choose 3 others that interest you. For a full list of options, look under the Specialties section.
Rescue is the third core class and is a very fun and informative class. This is great for anyone who wants to learn what to do in case of an emergency and the proper procedures for helping others, as well as yourself. This course has an exam and you must be CPR certified. We can include CPR in your course if needed.
Master Diver is the final core class and a great achievement. To reach this level you must have at least 60 logged dives and 5 PADI specialties, as well as all the core classes. For a full list of specialties that you can learn look under the Specialties section.
Is there an area you’d really like to focus on? Perfecting your buoyancy? Learning to navigate and hit the mark every time? Learning the secrets of the deep with the deep diver specialty? There are so many to choose from! Click the link for a full list.
PSD - Public Safety Diver. A member of the community qualified to help in situations not suited for the recreational diver. If you are looking to go this route click the link below for more information.
If you have completed the core classes and are looking for the next step, a PADI Pro is the way to go! If you are looking to get started in the scuba industry, Dive Master is your first step.
