The Discover Mermaid experience introduces simple mermaid activities in a pool. It is designed as a flexible, informative, enjoyable, and controlled experience centered on letting you discover what it's like to mermaid dive.
To enroll in a Discover Mermaid experience, you must be at least six years old. You need to be in good physical health and comfortable in the water. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.
This course is best for those unsure of their swim skills or just wanting to try a monofin for the first time.

The Basic Mermaid course combines learning supporting knowledge and principles with a confined water skill development session to introduce the fun of fundamental mermaid diving. The course covers mermaid diving's background and culture, primary safety considerations, equipment you will need and basic water skills.

You must be at least six years old and be able to swim at least 80 feet without additional support. This course is best for young swimmers and those starting to explore the Mermaid world.

The Mermaid course includes knowledge development and water skill sessions that develop more dynamic mermaid skills, including many skills that make mermaiding an underwater self-expressive art, separate from other types of diving. (Note that the Mermaid course includes Basic Mermaid, so you can start with Mermaid – there is no need to ta
The Mermaid course includes knowledge development and water skill sessions that develop more dynamic mermaid skills, including many skills that make mermaiding an underwater self-expressive art, separate from other types of diving. (Note that the Mermaid course includes Basic Mermaid, so you can start with Mermaid – there is no need to take Basic Mermaid separately.)
You must be at least ten years old for this course and be able to swim 160 feet without additional support. This course is great for strong swimmers or those that already have experience with mermaid dives.

In the Advanced Mermaid course, you'll build on your Mermaid certification and apply it to the open water environment. You'll learn the basics of how the open water environment differs from a pool or confined water (larger, deeper, more variable conditions) and be introduced to open water mermaiding techniques. You'll also learn about aqu
In the Advanced Mermaid course, you'll build on your Mermaid certification and apply it to the open water environment. You'll learn the basics of how the open water environment differs from a pool or confined water (larger, deeper, more variable conditions) and be introduced to open water mermaiding techniques. You'll also learn about aquatic life – what to expect, how it can affect you, and how you avoid harm.
You must be at least twelve years old for this course and have the Mermaid certification first. You must also be able to swim 320 feet without additional support and be comfortable in open water environments (lakes, oceans, etc).
